Zone Read
Follow the Zone, place Portal at the Bridge. Or when you see the Flooded Entrance on Minimap, place Portal, then look for the Bridge.
The Layout Variant can be identified based on the Start of the Zone.
- Zone Entrance to Waypoint orientation
- Waypoint Room Form
- Zone opening up South or North
If the Waypoint Room has only one Exit I define it as Funnel Layout, for lack of better Term. If there is no 2nd Room or Passage behind the Waypoint to the East. Head South, to the Bridge. Place a Portal at the Bridge for later. Then head to Ledge. (Image 2) If there is a 2nd Room or Passage behind the Waypoint. The Portal should be placed in the 2nd Section before reaching the Bridge, saving Time later when returning for the Flooded Depths. After that proceed as normal to the Bridge. (Image 1)
If the Zone if opening North, the Exit will be in the North-West Corner of the Zone, place the Portal in the 2nd Section before the Bridge and the Flooded Depths will be on the same Side as the Waypoint was, seen in Image 3 and 4.
If the Zone is opening South, the Bridge can lead South-East or North-East. To differentiate between the 2 Variants, check if the Zone also opens up North-East or just South. If it is just south place the Portal at the Bridge. (Image 5) f the Zone also opens up North-East, be carefull to not fall for the Long Flooded Depths Passage. If you do, place the Portal the moment you see the Entrance to Flooded, then turn around to find the Bridge. See Image 6.
